Workers of PUC “Zelenilo i groblja” are currently tidying up the parks, the pedestrian zone and the city square in Smederevo. Work is under way at several locations in the city, as well as in the suburban settlements of Miloja Đaka and Kovačićevo.
Parks and public areas are being cleared of weeds, the grass in the parks is being mown and flowers are being planted.
In addition, public areas in several city streets are being landscaped for the first time. The green area in Filipa Višnjića Street has been completely reconstructed and now has a completely new look.
After several years, the fountain in front of the entrance to the City Administration building, which had been out of order for years, has recently been working again.
The major campaign to tidy up the city will continue, so that Smederevo becomes one of the best-kept cities in Serbia.
