As previously stressed, works to improve the city’s streets are continuing. This week, rehabilitation works were completed in Marka Oreškovića, Učiteljska, Banatsko sokače and Turgenjeva Streets. On this occasion, the Mayor visited these streets and talked to residents.
Residents expressed great gratitude that, after years of waiting, they will have asphalted streets at the entrance to their yards. The Mayor stressed that this is not the end, and that the City, in line with its priorities, one of which is adequate road infrastructure, will continue to work for the benefit of all our fellow citizens in the future. Asphalting is planned in Mišarska and Ive Lole Ribara Streets in the coming days.
As a reminder, the project for the rehabilitation of twenty-two streets in Smederevo is worth RSD 143,800,000.00 including VAT, and the works are planned to be completed within the next sixty working days, weather permitting.
In the coming period, announcements will be issued about the streets that have been completed in the urban local communities, and about those scheduled to be asphalted.
