The Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović, today held meetings with representatives of the public enterprises and institutions founded by the City of Smederevo.
The meetings discussed current issues and challenges in their work, activities carried out, and plans, projects and priorities for the coming period, as part of the process of preparing the budget of the City of Smederevo for 2027.
Particular attention was paid to improving organisation and efficiency, and to strengthening coordination and cooperation between the local government, public enterprises and institutions.
“All our efforts need to share a common goal: that the citizens of Smederevo receive high-quality, accessible and efficient services from a system that works in their interest.
Public enterprises and institutions were established to serve the citizens and to meet their needs through their work.
Only through good coordination and responsible work can we create the conditions for Smederevo to be a more orderly place to live for all our fellow citizens,” said the Mayor, Jasmina Vojinović.
