Today a Contract was signed between the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Smederevo on cooperation in providing assistance to improve the living conditions of internally displaced persons during their displacement, through the provision of building materials and equipment for completing or adapting a residential building. On 23 April 2023, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration published a public call to local government units in the Republic of Serbia for the allocation of funds to improve the living conditions of internally displaced persons living in their territory during their displacement, through the provision of building materials and equipment for completing or adapting a residential building.
The maximum amount per beneficiary is RSD 800,000.00, and the minimum amount is RSD 250,000.00.
The City of Smederevo has been granted RSD 3,600,000.00, while the City’s contribution is RSD 400,000.00. The cooperation contract was signed on behalf of the City of Smederevo by the Mayor of Smederevo, Jovan Beč, and by the Commissioner for Refugees and Migration, Nataša Stanisavljević.
