The Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski, today presented representatives of local government units at the Palace of Serbia with contracts on earmarked transfers in social protection.
As was said at the contract award ceremony, RSD 600 million has been allocated for this purpose from the budget of the Republic of Serbia in 2026, which is RSD 40 million more than last year.
On behalf of the City of Smederevo, the contract worth a total of RSD 10.1 million was signed by Nemanja Ivošević, Member of the City Council responsible for social protection, and the funds received are planned for the personal assistant service for children with disabilities, as support in meeting their basic needs in everyday life.
