Following the successful conclusion of the business and tourism festival “Smederevo Autumn”, the Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović, visited the Day Care Institution for Children, Young People and Adults with Developmental Disabilities “Sunce”.
On that occasion, she presented the service users with gifts and fresh fruit, a symbol of the Smederevo area and of the autumn festivities that have just ended.
“The City of Smederevo wants to share the joy of its most important local festival with all its citizens, and especially with those who most need the community’s attention and support.
The City’s support for “Sunce” is not only an institutional obligation, but also an expression of sincere care for every child and young person in our city.
Our aim is to invest continuously in social protection and to create equal opportunities for all citizens, for a society in which every individual feels safe,” the Mayor stressed during today’s visit to “Sunce”.
