Ahead of the forthcoming holidays, the Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović, today visited the maternity ward and the Children’s Ward of the Smederevo hospital.
There are currently six children on the Children’s Ward, for whom the City of Smederevo prepared New Year gift packages.
Mothers who had recently given birth also received gifts for their fifteen newborns.
An encouraging fact is that 10 more babies were born this year than the year before.
The Mayor wished the health workers, the mothers and their babies good health and happiness in the New Year 2025, and a speedy recovery to the children receiving treatment.
