Ahead of the New Year, the functioning of Smederevo’s health system was discussed at the Smederevo City Administration.
In the coming days, five doctors, nine nurses and three drivers will sign contracts for permanent employment at the Health Centre.
Permanent contracts will also be given to two specialist doctors, one unskilled worker and two nurses, who will work at the Smederevo hospital.
In this way, the local government is showing how important it is to retain the necessary medical staff and to give all health workers the chance to develop their professional careers in their own city, looking after the proper treatment of their fellow citizens.
