Pursuant to Article 86, paragraph 4 of the Law on Local Self-Government (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 129/2007, 83/2014 (other law), 101/2016 (other law), 47/2018 and 111/2021 (other law)), Article 92, paragraph 4 of the Statute of the City of Smederevo (“Official Gazette of the City of Smederevo”, No. 2/2019, consolidated text) and the Decision on the Dissolution of the City Assembly of Smederevo and the Establishment of the Provisional Authority of the City of Smederevo (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 94/2023), the Provisional Authority of the City of Smederevo, at its 1st session held on 1 November 2023, noted the termination of:
- the mandates of the councillors of the City Assembly of Smederevo,
- the office of the President of the City Assembly of Smederevo,
- the office of the Deputy President of the City Assembly of Smederevo,
- the office of the Secretary of the City Assembly of Smederevo,
- the mandates of the standing working bodies of the City Assembly of Smederevo,
- the office of the Mayor of the City of Smederevo,
- the office of the Deputy Mayor of the City of Smederevo,
- the office of the Members of the City Council.
Following these findings, it adopted the following acts:
- Rules of Procedure of the Provisional Authority of the City of Smederevo,
- Ruling on the Appointment of the Secretary of the Provisional Authority of the City of Smederevo,
- Decision on the Employment Status and Coefficients for the Calculation and Payment of Salaries and Allowances of the President, Members and Secretary of the Provisional Authority of the City of Smederevo,
- Ruling on Authorising Persons to Sign and Dispose of Funds in the Current Accounts of the City of Smederevo,
- Decision on the Amendment of the Decision on Exercising the Right to Financial Assistance for Pregnant Women and New Mothers in the City of Smederevo.
Acts that are to be published in the “Official Gazette of the City of Smederevo” will be published in issue 6/2023.
