After the Serbian Business Registers Agency issued a ruling on 18 December 2020 deleting from the register of business entities the Public Enterprise Directorate for Construction, Urban Planning and Building Land Smederevo, whose premises were on the first floor of the Podunavlje Administrative District building at Trg Republike 5 in Smederevo, all the valid and important documents of that enterprise were properly packed, sorted by year and listed electronically.
Waste paper for recycling, boxes and plastic and cardboard folders were then left in those premises and needed to be removed, which we began doing on 19 February 2025.
We agree that throwing the paper out of the window was inappropriate, as some citizens also noticed when they drew attention to the situation.
To prevent this from happening again, the workers engaged on the job have been instructed to take the recyclable waste out in sacks.
