Today, 128 new contracts subsidising local agricultural producers were awarded at the City Administration in Smederevo and presented to the farmers by the Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović.
“We are aware of the challenges you face every day, and that is exactly why the local government strives to be your reliable partner through a range of support measures.
With this in mind, we decided to set aside additional funds for these purposes in the very next budget revision.
Thanks to this, support for agriculture will be RSD 25 million higher than last year, which will allow us to respond positively to all the applications submitted.
In addition to the state subsidies, the funds we are awarding are a clear sign that we are committed to improving agricultural production and strengthening our villages.
This is also one of the important priorities of the national policy led by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić,” the Mayor said on that occasion, wishing all the subsidy beneficiaries every success, a good harvest and stable production.
