The Municipal Police informs citizens that from Monday, 25 May 2026, in order to improve safety and traffic flow and to penalise illegal parking more effectively, offences will be monitored and recorded in the territory of the City of Smederevo by a specialised traffic enforcement vehicle.
The specialised vehicle, better known as “Oko sokolovo”, is equipped with a modern camera system and software for the automatic recognition and recording of illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the regulations in force.
All road users are urged to observe traffic regulations and to use only designated parking spaces, in order to contribute to greater safety and the more orderly functioning of city traffic.
The system will record illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the regulations in force, in Kneza Mihaila Street and Karađorđeva Street.
