From 12 to 21 May, Smederevo will host the 41st “Nušić Days” Theatre Festival, dedicated to the famous Serbian comedy writer Branislav Nušić, who spent part of his life in Smederevo.
There are five productions in the competition programme. Theatre lovers will see actors of the Belgrade Drama Theatre, the National Theatre in Belgrade, Atelje 212, the National Theatre from Subotica, the Pula City Theatre and the theatre of the Cultural Centre from Tivat.
The central part of the event begins on 15 May at 19:00 with the laying of wreaths at the monument to Branislav Nušić in front of the Cultural Centre and the opening of the photography exhibition “Theatre Is a Shortcut to the Human Soul” by Dragana Udovičić.
