Following a successful meeting with representatives of the transport company “Lasta”, the key issues relating to the transport of pensioners in the territory of the City of Smederevo have been resolved.
As the transport company “Lasta” did not provide its transport service during August, it was decided that all pensioners who had paid for monthly tickets for August will be refunded.
From September, the transport company “Lasta” will resume transporting pensioners in the territory of the City of Smederevo, under the same conditions that applied previously, before the service was interrupted.
The City of Smederevo understands all the difficulties our fellow citizens have faced during this period and the inconvenience caused by the interruption in transport.
We are continuing to monitor the situation on the ground and are actively working to ensure that all citizens have regular public transport.
