As part of the enhanced maintenance of state road IB14, on the section from the border of AP Vojvodina (Kovin) to Ralja, works to replace the road pavement structure on the section from km 49+200 to km 50+010 (from the bridge over the Ralja river in Ralja to the junction with state road IIA156) will begin on Friday 4 September 2026.
The section that has been closed to traffic until now, from km 48+610 to km 46+800 (from the main entrance to the HBIS steelworks to the village of Ralja), will be reopened to traffic.
While the works are under way, the section will be fully closed to traffic, and the following alternative route will be used as a diversion:
traffic from the direction of Smederevo is diverted onto state road IIA153 to the Smederevo interchange, then along the A1 motorway to the Požarevac interchange, and then along state road IM7 towards Požarevac; traffic from the opposite direction follows the same route in reverse order.
The works are scheduled to be completed on 30 September 2026.
We urge drivers to observe the temporary traffic signs and equipment in place and to adjust their driving to the road conditions.
