New contracts for the award of non-refundable funds for the purchase of a rural house with a garden plot were signed today at the Palace of Serbia; this support programme has been implemented for many years by the Ministry of Rural Welfare in cooperation with local governments.
Among the signatories of the new contracts is the City of Smederevo, which regularly takes part in this call for applications and in this way wants to help young married couples buy their first property, with the aim of strengthening villages and agricultural production.
Among the beneficiaries who signed the contract today are the Dolašević couple, a family with three children.
By buying a rural house with a garden plot in Vrbovac near Smederevo, worth almost RSD 1,200,000, this five-member family will resolve its housing issue.
On behalf of the City of Smederevo, the contract with the relevant ministry and the beneficiaries was signed by Vesna Kiš Kostić, Assistant to the Mayor of the City of Smederevo.
