Yesterday, the Mayor of Smederevo, Jovan Beč, signed a Contract on Earmarked Transfers in Social Protection worth RSD 10,663,359.00 with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.
The City of Smederevo has allocated the total annual amount of the approved earmarked transfers to financing the personal assistant service for children. Individuals and families receive social protection services for 2023 in the amount, under the conditions and in the manner laid down by the Law on Social Protection, the Regulation on Earmarked Transfers in Social Protection, the Law on Public Procurement and the Contract on Earmarked Transfers for 2023.
As a reminder, at its session held on 26 December 2022, the City Assembly of Smederevo adopted the Decision on the Implementation of the Budget of the City of Smederevo in the Part Relating to Planned Expenditure on Social Protection Services for 2023. This Decision sets out the priority social protection services of the City of Smederevo that are financed from the earmarked transfer and from the local government’s own revenue for 2023.
