On 10 June 2026, a regular session of the City Emergency Situations Headquarters for the territory of the City of Smederevo was held.
The session was chaired by the Commander of the Headquarters, the Mayor of the City of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović.
At the session, the Headquarters considered the preventive and operational measures to be taken to protect against open-air fires, adopted the information on hail defence for 2025 and on the preparations made for 2026, and adopted the report on the condition, readiness for action and capacities of the Red Cross Smederevo.
It considered the level of staffing, equipment and training reached by the civil protection units, as well as solutions to the problems with the operation of pumping stations in the territory of the City of Smederevo.
Two documents in the field of disaster risk reduction and emergency management were presented: the Disaster Risk Assessment and the Protection and Rescue Plan of the City of Smederevo.
Accordingly, the City Headquarters adopted the relevant conclusions.
