The Autumn Fair of Winter Preserves, Flowers, Honey and Wine, which is traditionally held in October, opened today in the City of Smederevo. The fair was opened by Marija Marković Stavrić, Deputy Mayor of the City of Smederevo.
“Autumn brings us a wealth of colours, scents and flavours, and this event is an opportunity to enjoy a varied range of home-made products and traditional skills. At this fair you can find a wide range of products, from delicious home-made jams, pickles and honey to beautiful autumn flowers and top-quality wines produced by our local wineries. This fair is not only an opportunity to buy and taste, but also an opportunity to support our farmers, beekeepers, florists and winegrowers, who strive to give us the best that nature can offer. The fair also allows us to preserve our tradition and pass it on to future generations. This event is a celebration of food and drink, and it is also a celebration of togetherness. Here we come together as a community, share stories and experiences, and build connections with people who share the same passion for nature and tradition. So I invite you to explore this wonderful fair, to enjoy all the charms of autumn and to support our local producers. Thank you to everyone who helped organise this event, and to all of you who have joined us today. Let us enjoy this day, and may this event be another unforgettable experience that we will carry with us,” said the Deputy Mayor.
