As part of the enhanced maintenance of state road IB14, section AP Vojvodina border (Kovin) – Ralja, chainage from km 37+148 to km 50+889, works to replace the road pavement on the section from km 48+610 to km 46+800 (from the main entrance to the HBIS steelworks to the village of Ralja) will begin on Wednesday, 15 July 2026.
While the works are under way, the section will be fully closed to traffic and the following alternative route will be used as a detour: from the direction of Smederevo, traffic will be diverted onto state road IIA153 to the Smederevo interchange, then along the A1 motorway to the Požarevac interchange, and then along state road IB14 to the village of Ralja or to the municipal road leading on to state road IM7 towards Požarevac; traffic from the opposite direction will follow the same route in reverse order.
The works are scheduled to be completed on 10 August 2026.
Drivers are urged to observe the temporary traffic signs and equipment in place and to adapt their driving to the road conditions.
