Ahead of the forthcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, the Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović, and the President of the City Assembly of Smederevo, Milan Perić, today visited the Children’s Ward and the Maternity Ward of the Medical Centre “Sveti Luka” in Smederevo.
They wished the little ones on the Children’s Ward a speedy recovery and happy, carefree moments in the new year, and handed out New Year gift packages.
During the visit to the maternity ward, they warmly congratulated the mothers who had recently given birth and presented them with gifts for their babies.
The visit was also an opportunity to talk with the Director of the Smederevo Medical Centre, Dr Olgica Obradović, and to thank the health workers for their commitment and devotion in carrying out their responsible and humane daily work.
They wished everyone good health, happiness and success in 2026.
