The 7th session of the City Assembly was held in Smederevo today, adopting this year’s first budget revision and the information on the revenue and receipts collected and the expenditure and outlays made from the budget of the City of Smederevo for the period from January to September this year.
The councillors also adopted a decision changing the legal form of PE “Sportski centar” into the Institution “Sportski centar” Smederevo, as well as the proposed decision on entrusting the utility activity of animal hygiene, that is, the implementation of disinfection, insect control and rodent control measures, through a public-private partnership project. The proposed amendment to the Programme of Support for Implementing Agricultural Policy and Rural Development Policy in the city’s territory for 2024 was also adopted.
The City Assembly of Smederevo approved the amendments to the business programmes of the public enterprises and institutions founded by the City for the current year. The proposal to amend the statute of the Smederevo Public Library was also accepted, and rulings were adopted appointing members of the school boards of Primary School “Dositej Obradović” in Smederevo, Primary School “Ilija Milosavljević Kolarac” in Kolari, Primary School “Ivo Lola Ribar” in Skobalj and the Smederevo Technical School.
Veljko Barović was appointed as the new Acting Director of the Regional Centre for Professional Development of Employees in Education Smederevo.
