In the Blue Hall of the City Administration, the Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović, today held a meeting with representatives of businesses from the first industrial zone.
These are fifteen companies that have been operating in the area since the nineties and are the pioneers of Smederevo’s modern economy.
“The talks covered infrastructure issues, because the local government in Smederevo wants to create good conditions for existing businesses to operate, and also to encourage stronger economic development in the local area through additional infrastructure and proper improvement of the area.
By ensuring a favourable business climate in Smederevo, we are not only preserving existing capacity, but also enabling new companies to open and new jobs for our fellow citizens. We are all working on this task together, and it is very important for us to have good cooperation with our businesspeople, with whom we are always happy to talk about upcoming projects and ideas for achieving our ultimate business goals,” Mayor Jasmina Vojinović said after the meeting.
