the public that Ruling No. 381-25/2023-11 of 16 October 2023 has been adopted, stating that an environmental impact assessment is not required for the Project: Reconstruction of the energy and refrigeration plant in the snail processing industrial complex on cadastral plots no. 11791/1, 11791/2 and 11791/3, Smederevo cadastral municipality, and no. 218/1, Lipe II cadastral municipality, whose project developer is ESCO DOO SMEDEREVO, Crvene armije 67, Smederevo.
The Project is on the List of Projects for Which an Environmental Impact Assessment May Be Required (Decree Establishing the List of Projects for Which an Impact Assessment Is Mandatory and the List of Projects for Which an Environmental Impact Assessment May Be Required, “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 114/2008), item 9 “Food industry”.
The project developer and the interested public may inspect the adopted Ruling and lodge an appeal against it within 15 days of the date of receipt of this notice. The appeal is addressed to the second-instance authority, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and is submitted through this authority.
