Pursuant to Article 14, paragraph 5, in conjunction with Article 39 of the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 94/2024), the Department for Property and Legal Affairs and Utility Services of the City Administration of the City of Smederevo

the public that Ruling No. 381-3/2025-11 of 18 March 2025 has been adopted, establishing that an environmental impact assessment is required and determining the scope and content of the Study for the Project: increasing the capacity of the registered waste management facility established at the location of cadastral plot no. 464/14, Smederevo cadastral municipality, at Industrijska 21, Smederevo.
The Project in question is on the List of Projects for Which an Environmental Impact Assessment May Be Required (Decree Establishing the List of Projects for Which an Impact Assessment Is Mandatory and the List of Projects for Which an Environmental Impact Assessment May Be Required, “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 114/2008), under item 14 “Other projects”, sub-item 2 “Waste management facilities”.
The project developer and the interested public may inspect the adopted Ruling and lodge an appeal against it within 15 days of the date of publication of this notice. The appeal is lodged with the second-instance authority, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and is submitted through this authority.
