Contracts on co-financing programmes for 19 social and humanitarian organisations operating in the territory of the city were presented today at the City Administration in Smederevo.
“This year we have allocated RSD 23 million from the budget to finance programmes in the field of social protection for 19 associations of persons with disabilities, which is RSD 3 million more than in 2025.
In the coming period, through appropriate measures and activities, we will strive to improve the quality of life of every individual even further, and also to work on constantly raising society’s awareness of the needs of persons with disabilities, respect for their rights and dignity, and the elimination of stereotypes and prejudice,” the Mayor of Smederevo, Jasmina Vojinović, said, among other things, and together with Slaviša Stošić, Member of the City Council and Chair of the Commission for the Allocation of Funds for Co-financing Programmes in the Field of Social Protection, presented the contracts to the beneficiaries.
