The foundation stone for the solar power plant in Saraorci was ceremonially laid today. This important event was attended by the Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedović, and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia, Chen Bo.
Construction of the “Saraorci” solar power plant in Smederevo began today. The plant will have a capacity of 9.95 megawatts of electricity for the domestic market, enough to supply around 2,500 households.
It is an investment by the German company AVR Solar Park and is being carried out by the Chinese company Power China.
