Today, after a working meeting at the City Administration of Smederevo, Mayor Jovan Beč, together with representatives of the Ministry of Education and City Administration staff, toured the construction works on the kindergarten in Radinac, which are nearing completion. This building, which will be equipped to the highest standards and will take around 300 children, will solve part of the problem of places for children from Smederevo and the surrounding villages.
As a reminder, construction of the kindergarten in Radinac began last August and, in line with the planned activities, will be completed within a year. The investment is worth over EUR 1.7 million.
As the Mayor also announced on his social media, in the coming period the City will continue to invest in kindergartens and schools, in line with Serbia’s population policy measures.
