The first baby of 2024 at the maternity ward of Smederevo’s General Hospital “Sveti Luka” was born on 1 January at 15:20.
Little Bogdan came into the world, and the Lazić family from Mala Krsna gained a new member.
On behalf of the City of Smederevo, the President of the Provisional Authority, Jasmina Vojinović, presented the boy’s mother with a congratulatory gift of RSD 100,000, wishing the baby and its parents good health and happiness.
Six babies were born at the Smederevo maternity ward in the first three days of this year, a total of 820 last year and 940 in 2022.
