As part of the enhanced maintenance works on State Road IB14, AP Vojvodina border (Kovin) – Ralja section, from chainage 37+148 to km 50+889, on Monday, 4 May 2026, the works on the section from km 41+800 to km 42+960 will be completed and works to replace the carriageway will begin on the section from km 40+650 to km 41+800.
The works will be carried out in one traffic lane, while the free lane will be used for traffic, with vehicles let through alternately with the help of temporary traffic lights.
While the works are under way, passenger cars will be diverted from State Road IB14 onto the street network of the City of Smederevo along the following route: Šalinačka Street – Đure Salaja Street – Miloša Velikog Street – Slobode Street – 17. Oktobra Street – 16. Oktobra Street – Crvene Armije Street, and back along the same route in the opposite direction.
Accordingly, on the section of State Road IB14 from the interchange at the Kovin Bridge to the railway level crossing in Radinac (from km 37+418 to km 44+110), passenger cars will not be allowed while the works are under way, except for vehicles travelling to the villages of Kulič and Šalinac.
Drivers are urged to observe the temporary traffic signs and equipment that have been put in place and to adapt their driving to the road conditions.
