The Department for Urban Planning, Construction and Investment of the City Administration in Smederevo reminds citizens to take the opportunity, by 15 October 2023, to apply for the temporary connection of the illegally built buildings they live in to the electricity network, gas, district heating, water and sewerage.
The application form can be obtained at counter 5 of the Service Centre or from the City’s official website, and once the necessary documents have been obtained and the application has been processed, the Department for Urban Planning, Construction and Investment (Legalisation Group) issues the applicants with a notice on the possibilities for temporary connection. It also forwards the notice ex officio to the companies, which then provide the technical conditions for the connections in accordance with the applicable price lists.
Since 15 September, 300 applications have been received in Smederevo, and only nine days remain before the deadline for this opportunity expires.
The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia previously announced that there will be no extension of the deadline beyond 15 October.
