With a folk music concert and a fireworks display, the 137th Smederevo Autumn came to a close in Smederevo last night, once again attracting a large number of visitors from all over Serbia and the region.
In celebration of the grapes and wine for which Smederevo is famous, numerous programmes for all generations were held at several locations in the city. Visitors were able to enjoy concerts by well-known performers, folklore group performances, theatre shows, knights’ tournaments and other cultural events staged in Smederevo’s cultural institutions.
In addition to the business exhibition at the Cultural Centre, there were two more exhibitions in the Large Town of Smederevo Fortress: “Village Yards” and an exhibition of work by the city’s women’s associations.
A sales exhibition of wine, grapes and other fruit, honey, flowers and souvenirs was held on the City Square, numerous competitions were organised on the sports grounds, and the International Regatta Šarlov Cup 2024 took place on the Danube.
