In order to implement the active employment policy programmes and measures provided for in the Local Employment Action Plan of the City of Smederevo for 2023, and on the basis of the Agreement concluded on regulating mutual rights and obligations in implementing active employment policy programmes and measures for 2023, the City of Smederevo and the National Employment Service, Smederevo Branch, have issued public calls for the current year.
The Public call to unemployed persons for the award of subsidies for self-employment and the Public call to employers for the award of subsidies for employing unemployed persons from hard-to-employ categories have been issued.
Under the Agreement on regulating mutual rights and obligations in implementing active employment policy programmes and measures for 2023 between the National Employment Service, Smederevo Branch, and the City of Smederevo, joint funds of RSD 23,529,411.77 have been allocated, through which more than 90 unemployed persons will be employed with direct financial support to employers and unemployed persons:
- A total of RSD 9,803,921.57 has been allocated for subsidies for employing unemployed persons from hard-to-employ categories, of which RSD 5,000,000.00 was allocated by the City and RSD 4,803,921.57 by the National Employment Service. The allocated funds will enable 49 persons registered with the National Employment Service to enter employment.
- A total of RSD 13,725,490.20 has been allocated for self-employment subsidies, of which RSD 7,000,000.00 was allocated by the City and RSD 6,725,490.20 by the National Employment Service. The allocated funds will enable 45 unemployed persons registered with the National Employment Service to set up their own businesses as sole traders
The public calls of the City of Smederevo and the National Employment Service were published on the websites of the City of Smederevo and the National Employment Service www.nsz.gov.rs and in the online publication “Poslovi” of 31 May this year.
