The Commission for the Selection of Projects Implementing the Measures and Activities of the Strategy for the Development of Social Protection in the City of Smederevo has issued a Public Call for applications for financing and co-financing projects implementing the measures and activities of the Strategy for the Development of Social Protection in the City of Smederevo in 2024 in the total amount of RSD 1,700,000.00. The projects implementing the measures and activities of the Strategy for the Development of Social Protection in the City of Smederevo that will be financed and co-financed under this Public Call in 2024 are: developing intergenerational solidarity, cooperation and the promotion of volunteering in support of socially vulnerable groups, measures to prevent and protect older people from abuse, neglect and exploitation, support for families at risk of the separation of children, and raising awareness in the local community of the needs and problems of vulnerable groups. The activities are carried out by civil society organisations and social protection institutions. Associations and organisations of a socio-humanitarian nature are eligible to take part in the Public Call. Applications are open for 15 days from the date of publication on the website of the City of Smederevo and the notice board of the City Administration of the City of Smederevo, that is, from 17 May 2024 to 31 May 2024.
