All persons whose claims were dismissed and who, after 31 July 2003, paid litigation costs awarded to the Republic of Croatia, as well as their legal heirs, in proceedings for compensation for the killing of a person close to them during the war and in proceedings for compensation brought under the Law on Liability for Damage Caused by Terrorist Acts and Public Demonstrations and the Law on the Liability of the Republic of Croatia for damage caused by members of the Croatian armed and police forces during the armed conflicts in Croatia, may submit a request for reimbursement of the court costs collected. The deadline for submitting requests is 28 December 2024, and requests are submitted to the competent State Attorney’s Office in the Republic of Croatia.
