Following an enormous increase in the number of outdoor fires in the territory of the City of Smederevo, the citizens of Smederevo are urged to respect the ban on burning crop stubble, burning rubbish in the open and burning plant residues.
Burning plant residues leads to uncontrolled outdoor fires, which cause major material damage and casualties.
The ban on burning stubble, rubbish and plant residues is laid down in the provisions of the Law on Fire Protection, and failure to comply is punishable by a fine.
Respect the ban on open burning!
